Education After High School Graduation 2011

The high school students and parents were invited to attend an event at their high school to discuss their options for a Post High School education in November. Representatives from the following DSC organizations were in attendance: Admissions, Advisement, DXATC, ETS, Financial Aid/Scholarships/Loans, Multicultural Center, and Trio.
The school represented in these pictures are Millcreek High School students.

High School Visits by Academic Advisors

The Washington County School District has the opportunity for Dixie State College Academic Advisors to meet their students once a month in assisting them in their selection of degrees, certificates and courses. The students are offered to make a plan of action for success to include academic goals, course sequencing, etc.

Having a Little Fun at Halloween Time 2011

Whitney made delicious cupcakes for the occasion.
Bridgett Sheffer & Bryan Jacobs, COMM Advisors decorated their offices with Halloween creatures, black lights, hanging webs with spiders and gave out treats.
The Academic Advisement Center dressed up in their own way!
It got a little 'out of control' at the end of the day playing loud music and as you can see, dancing. Drew really knows how to entertain the group with his moves.
